Cybersecurity workshops
17.08.2023Last 2 weeks we had the great opportunity to create three live sessions on the Cybersecurity subject, including cyber potential attacks, risks of cyber threats and methods of online self-defense.
We gathered three groups of 58 children aged between 10 and 15 years old from the towns Urlati, Fundulea and Bucharest in Romania with the help of our friends from “Ana & Copiii” Association. During the day they interacted with our colleagues from the Cybersecurity Services Department who explained to them how to create safer passwords, safer accounts and how to avoid cyber hacking.
We started with a very interesting game called “Bingo” where the children had to find different related sentences as a short introduction to short actions that we can take to maintain safety online.
Our colleagues presented themselves with their role within Stefanini and their responsibilities in the department of Cybersecurity services but also mentioned few of their hobbies and what they like to do for fun, encouraging all the children to do the same. We then found out a lot of them were passionate about computers, some of them even knew how to create strong passwords and safer social media accounts or how to include the second authentication method in their daily use. In the end we gave them a tour of Stefanini office and introduced them into the corporate world and organization and a special look inside the office of Cybersecurity. The continuous wave of questions received during the three days showed us that the topic was a very exciting one and related to their interests.
We had so much fun enjoying their company, communicating, playing, eating fruits, pizza and lots of sweets for energy. All of them were great and we hope to see them developing their skills and why not, following our colleagues’ steps in the industry.
